Privacy Policy
How Lamb Services LLC collects, uses and shares information in connection with Lamb Leads, its product at lamb-leads.com.
Last updated 4 August 2026
Who we are
Lamb Leads is a product of Lamb Services LLC, a California limited liability company. Lamb Services LLC operates the Lamb Leads service and the website at lamb-leads.com, and is the entity registered with mobile carriers for the text-message programme described in these pages. "Lamb Leads" is the name of the service; Lamb Services LLC is the company behind it.
Our postal address is 640 Richland View Ct, San Marcos, CA 92069. You can reach us at wyatt@lamb-services.com.
This policy applies to https://lamb-leads.com and to the Lamb Leads application. It explains what we collect from our customers, what we hold about businesses that appear in public inspection records, and what we do with each.
Information we collect from our customers
Our customers are contractors and trade businesses who subscribe to a territory. When you become a customer, or when you use the application, we collect:
- Your name and the name of your company.
- Your business email address, which is also your login.
- A business phone number, if you choose to provide one for text notifications.
- Your business postal address, if you provide it.
- Which territories and trades your subscription covers, and the status of that subscription.
- Notification rules you create, and a record of which notifications we sent you and when.
- The status, notes and contact history you record against the leads in your account.
Payment information
We do not collect, process or store payment card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and card details are entered on Stripe's own pages, not ours. We receive from Stripe only a customer reference, the status of your subscription, and whether a payment succeeded or failed.
Stripe processes that information as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. You can review and change your payment details at any time through the billing area of your account, which opens Stripe's Customer Portal.
Information about businesses in public inspection records
This section is for business owners who have found this page because their business appears in our product. It explains what we hold about you, where it came from, and what you can do about it.
County and municipal authorities publish the results of their health inspections as public records — for example, county health inspection records for food facilities. We collect county and municipal public health inspection records and other government records published in the areas we cover, and organise them. Specifically, we hold the business name, the business address, the published business telephone number, the dates of inspections, and the violation codes and findings the inspecting authority recorded.
We did not collect any of this from you, and we have no relationship with your business. We did not ask you for it and you were not required to give it to us. It came from the published record of the authority that inspected your business, which anybody may read.
We do not hold, buy or attempt to obtain the personal contact details of an owner, manager or employee. We do not hold personal email addresses, personal mobile numbers, home addresses, or any information about individuals in their personal capacity. The telephone number we hold is the published business line, exactly as the authority published it.
If you believe the record we hold about your business is inaccurate, the underlying record belongs to the authority that published it, and corrections must be made with that authority. If you want to know what we hold about your business, or you want us to stop displaying it, write to us at wyatt@lamb-services.com and we will respond. Where the information is a public record we may not be able to delete it from the public source, but we can tell you what we hold and we can remove it from our product.
Text messages, and what we do with your mobile number
If you give us a mobile number in your account settings, we will send you a text message when new leads arrive in your territory. Providing that number is how you opt in, and it is optional — the product works without it, and you can use email instead or receive nothing at all.
Message frequency varies. We send one message per batch of new leads rather than one per lead, so the number of messages depends entirely on how many inspections are published in your territory and how they fall. Inspectors work in batches, so several leads often arrive together and produce a single message, and quiet periods produce none at all.
Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message, or remove your mobile number in your account notification settings. Either one stops them.
For help, reply HELP to any message, or write to us at wyatt@lamb-services.com.
Mobile numbers and text-message consent are treated separately from everything else we hold, and the following applies to them specifically:
- We do not share mobile numbers or opt-in consent data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
- We share mobile numbers and opt-in data only with the subcontractor that delivers the messages. That subcontractor is Twilio Inc., which transmits the text messages on our behalf under a confidentiality obligation, and only for the purpose of delivering, supporting or technically operating the message programme.
- All opt-in records and the consent associated with them are kept private and are never sold, rented or transferred to third-party marketers.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate your account and give you access to the leads in the territory you subscribe to.
- Send you the notifications you have asked for, by the channels you have chosen.
- Take payment for your subscription and tell you when a payment has failed.
- Respond to you when you contact us.
- Keep the service working, secure and free of abuse.
- Meet our legal obligations.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we need in order to run the product, and only for that purpose. They are:
- Supabase, which hosts our database and handles account sign-in.
- Vercel, which hosts the application.
- Stripe, which processes subscription payments.
- Resend, which delivers email notifications.
- Twilio, which delivers text-message notifications.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done either.
We are not a data broker. We do not buy consumer data, we do not enrich records with purchased contact information, and we do not maintain a profile of any individual.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you specific rights over personal information about you. This section describes them and how to use them.
In the twelve months before the date of this policy, the categories of personal information we have collected are: identifiers, in the form of names, business email addresses and business telephone numbers; commercial information, in the form of subscription and transaction records; and internet or network activity, limited to the technical logs our hosting providers keep in order to operate and secure the service. We collect these directly from our customers, and, in the case of business telephone numbers appearing in inspection records, from public records published by government authorities in the areas we cover.
We collect this information for the business purposes described above: operating accounts, delivering the service, taking payment, communicating with customers, and securing the product. We do not use it for any other purpose without telling you first.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of source, the purpose, and the categories of third party we disclosed it to. You have the right to have it deleted, subject to the exceptions the law allows. You have the right to have inaccurate information corrected. And you have the right to opt out of sale or sharing — which, for us, is a right there is nothing to exercise against, because we do neither.
To exercise any of these rights, write to wyatt@lamb-services.com and tell us which right you want to use. We will verify who you are before we act, which normally means confirming control of the email address associated with the account or the record. You may use an authorised agent; if you do, we will still verify your identity and their authority.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you the service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you asked.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use analytics software. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, and no third-party tracking script anywhere in this application or on this website.
We set cookies for one purpose only: to keep you signed in. Those cookies are set by our authentication provider, Supabase, are read only by us, and are strictly necessary for the application to work. Clearing them signs you out.
We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking, and we do not permit anybody else to set cookies through our site.
How long we keep information
We keep customer account information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We keep public inspection records for as long as they are useful to the product. These are published records rather than information collected from you.
We keep a record of the notifications we sent, including which lead each one covered and whether it was delivered, for as long as your account is open. It is what stops you being told about the same lead twice.
Security
Access to customer data is restricted at the database level, so a signed-in customer can read only the records belonging to their own company. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment card details are never in our systems at all.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator we are required to notify, without unreasonable delay and consistent with California law.
Children
This is a business-to-business product sold to trade contractors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where information is held
Our providers store and process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, understand that the information you send will be processed there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information about you, we will tell you by email to the address on your account before it takes effect. The current version is always at https://lamb-leads.com/privacy.
